With great pleasure, Masaaki Suzuki announces that he will join HarrisonParrott for General Management. Since founding Bach Collegium Japan in 1990, Masaaki Suzuki has established himself as a leading authority on the works of Bach.
Considered also to be an outstanding expert on baroque and classical choral repertoire, he regularly conducts orchestras such as Bavarian Radio, Danish National Radio, Gothenburg Symphony, New York Philharmonic, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, San Francisco Symphony, Sydney Symphony, and Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestras.
Present and future highlights include performances with NHK Symphony, Seattle Symphony, Singapore Symphony, and Sydney Symphony orchestras amongst others.
Masaaki has enjoyed 9 years of fruitful partnership and professional growth with Hazard Chase with James Brown and Roderick Thompson. Masaaki writes, “I am so grateful for Roderick Thomson and Hazard Chase Team for our long-term collaboration, although the terrible pandemic forced us all to change the life. In any situation, we never stop bringing wonderful music to the audience, and devoting ourselves to it. So I am immensely excited now to start working with Jasper Parrot and his team.”
