The names of the BCJ Friends levels are inspired by Bach’s choral repertoire. Bach’s St. Thomas Choir in Leipzig had 55 singers, divided into four groups to provide music for the city’s churches. Bach often complained about having too few singers, but there is no limit to the number of BCJ supporters. We warmly invite you all to become part of our community!
